The Frederick County Nature Council is a "friends of the park" group serving the Catoctin Creek and Fountain Rock nature parks in Frederick County. Our mission is to support the parks and improve the park experience for visitors through activities such as:
Working on projects such as our Sensory Trail and Purple Martin colony
Volunteering for cleanup and other park events
Organizing citizen science events for children and adults
